Our jungle peanuts are grow throughout the Ecuadorian Amazonian Basin where they thrive in the hot and humid environment. The jungle peanuts are an heirloom variety that grow wild in the Amazon and are maintained solely by the indigenous Achuar community, making availability extremely limited. When you can get your hands on them, they’re high in protein, containing all nine essential amino acids, magnesium, phosphorus and manganese.

Our jungle peanuts are grow throughout the Amazonian Basin in Ecuador. The hot humid climate is essential to producing the jungle peanuts, where they grow wild and have been maintained by the native people in the area for years. The heirloom variety grows just over a foot tall, sprout green leaflets and yellowish orange flowers. While the top of the plant grows, the peanut pods grow underground and develop into mature peanut pods with a hard shell.
